10 : Friends [2021]

Joey's agent Estelle dies, but the group doesn't want to tell him as it could push him over the edge after all the recent changes he's witnessed. Phoebe impersonates Estelle's voice and pretends to still be alive to try to get Joey to fire her, but Joey ends up terrified when he gets a phone call from 'Estelle' after learning about her death. While being shown their new home by their realtor (Jane Lynch), Monica and Chandler are horrified to find that Janice (Maggie Wheeler) is considering buying the house next door to them, leading Chandler to take drastic measures to ensure she doesn't move in. Ross tries to get Rachel her old job back so she won't have to move to Paris. However, when he succeeds, Rachel becomes upset that, although she won't have to leave her friends, she won't be able to visit the 'Fashion Capital of the World'. In the end, Ross persuades her to do what she wants to do.

Need to take that break and step away from your work desk to go grab a coffee? This is the person you instant message to tag along with you. You see them more than you see any other friends, and share so much about your lives with them, often without even realizing how much you actually know about each other. They usually know everything from the tiniest details (like what ingredients you absolutely hate in your lunch salads) to the bigger, more serious personal issues.

Joey and Rachel decide to begin a relationship and, although initially upset, Ross gives the two his blessing. However the budding romance is cut short when they find they are unable to consummate the relationship. The two decide they were better off being friends and break up. Ross also begins dating Charlie, but this relationship is also short lived and she returns to an ex-boyfriend, Benjamin Hobart, unceremoniously dumping him.

Blend is a Spotify feature that lets you create playlists with friends and family, and the service will automatically generate a list based on both your interests. Launched in 2021, Blended playlists update daily with new songs based on the listening habits of its members, although the playlists are limited to 50 tracks.

Creating a Blend is super easy to do with friends and family. You can add up to ten people to your Blend. The music is generated automatically based on what everyone is listening to, so the playlist gets updated daily, adding in new songs and taking out others.

The update also allows you to create Blends with artists you like. The whole process is pretty simple, but these playlists will only be between you and your favorite artist, so you won't be able to integrate the artist with your friends.

With the Spotify Blend update, you can finally start playlists with most of your family and friends. They're easy to create and share, so you'll soon figure out exactly what everyone's taste in music is like. We're sure you'll love some tracks more than others, but you can always skip them.

Things like posts they make on your wall, photos where both of you are tagged, events you both attend, comments on each others posts or photos, etc. Facebook does a remarkable job selecting 10 friends from your hundreds or thousands of friends...while keeping it fresh and interesting.

But, there must be more to this. Every time I check my Facebook profile page I scan down the left side bar where 10 friends are displayed. At left is a screen shot from my Facebook page this morning. Every one of those people are friends that I have recently interacted with on some level. I refreshed the page a couple times and another set of people are displayed. I try to think of any "interactions" I recently had with them. Some are obvious, some are not. Serendipity and randomness must play a part. Is it scary that Facebook seems to know who we care about, and who cares about us...but we don't know how they know this? For me it is more thought provoking than scary. Hmmm...how do they really do this?

People You May Know - How does Facebook decide which people to put in the "People You May Know" list on the right side bar? That one seems more obvious. It is based on friends of friends, mutual friends, employers or schools you have in common, your home town, current city, and probably a few other things. But again, the algorithm intoduces some randomness. The people are not listed in rank order by the number of friends you have in common. Many times I know who the people are, but have never actually met them. Other times I have no clue who the "suggested friends" are. There is certainly an algorithm that suggests people, but exactly how it works is a mystery.

Promiscuous Friending - You would think that if "someone you may know" has 100 mutual friends with me that I would at least know of them. Hmmm...there must be a lot of promiscuous friending going on out there. Not me. I have principles :-). No, really I do. Perhaps I use Facebook differently than most, but I only accept friend requests from people I actually know, People I have actually met, or have exchanged meaningful email or phone calls. Call me crazy, but that is my loose definition of "friends" for Facebook.

After nine amazing years, countless romantic ordeals, new additions to the group, heartbreak, and endless laughter, the final installment of Friends premiered in late 2003. Season 10 would be the final one for Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, and Chandler, the most unique group of friends ever shown on television, who made a home in the hearts of the audiences.

Joey goes on a date with Phoebe's friends, but when she takes food from his plate, Joey goes ballistic. After giving Ross fashion advice for his date, Rachel accidentally gives him a bag of her clothes instead of a bag with his.

In the meantime, Rachel and Joey decide that they are ready to take the next step and sleep together. However, the transition from friends to lovers doesn't seem to work out as well as they hoped and their bodies refuse to do what they want.

Monica and Chandler are done packing up the apartment, and Joey buys them a new chick and duck as a present. The audience said goodbye alongside those six fictional characters who became friends of their own in a very sentimental moment.

For most people in Vancouver, buying a home often means making a choice between homeownership and staying with your community. When a group of 10 friends was faced with making this very decision, they all chose both.

The reality of the housing crisis has encouraged many Canadians to explore alternative solutions, like pooling funds with friends and family to afford home ownership, but the legalities and complexity of sharing such a large investment can be challenging enough to ward off potential buyers.

The Mixer Mortgage agreement lays out the distribution of expenses and helps align co-owners on insurance protection. This means that common co-ownership concerns are addressed and accounted for, like what happens if one member wants to end the agreement or sell, or in the unfortunate event of a death. Features like these help make buying property with friends or family an exciting decision rather than a stressful event.

Burger King this week launched an application called the Whopper Sacrifice. Taking its name from the fast food company's well-known burger, the Whopper Sacrifice rewards Facebook users who delete 10 of their online friends with a coupon for a free Whopper burger. The application can be downloaded from either Facebook or from the Whopper Sacrifice site.

"What would you do for a free Whopper?" the site asks hungry visitors. "Now is the time to put your fair-weather web friendships to the test. Install Whopper Sacrifice on your Facebook profile and we'll reward you with a free flame-broiled Whopper when you sacrifice 10 of your friends."

What better way to play with the notion of what really is an online friend than to judge their worth compared to ... a hamburger? And Burger King is showing no mercy, though some good humor, by having the application send a message to the deleted friend to tell them that this person valued a Whopper more than their friendship. The app also acts as a counter, reminding the user how many more friends need to be evicted before they get that free Whopper.

Those people who would warm to the cause of mental health are probably closer than you think. 1 in 4 people will suffer from a psychiatric illness this year and 1 in 11 are already on antidepressants. They do not talk about it but c.30-40 of your friends have been touched by mental illness.

Throughout childhood and much of young adulthood, most people your age are in the same life stage as you are. But when it comes to advancing into full adulthood, people do so at widely varying paces, which leads to certain friends suddenly having totally different existences from one another.

PRINCETON, NJ -- Many Americans soon will bid adieu to theirtelevision Friends -- Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe,Rachel, and Ross -- as the popular television series broadcasts itsfinal original episode in May, but a recent Gallup Poll suggestsAmericans have plenty of real world friends of their own. Asubstantial majority of Americans are satisfied not only with theoverall number of friends they have, but also with the closeness ofthe relationships they have with their friends. And, when asked howsatisfied they are with a variety of things in their personallives, satisfaction with friendships ranks second behindsatisfaction with family. 041b061a72
